Finding balance between life and fitness took a long time for me. When I was younger, I felt like an outcast due to my weight, and beginning my “weight loss journey” started out innocently enough. The main issue was that I didn’t lose weight in the right way or for the right reasons. I restricted food and did intense cardio workouts, but it wasn’t to see how much I can do and how far I can go. Everything was based on how much weight I could lose, and all I cared about was the scale. My desire to lose weight molded into a desire to be extremely fit and muscular. I was working out every day, lifting heavy weight, and minimizing calories. I thought I was doing everything right, but I was only confusing dedication and disorder. I spent many years after this sitting down with myself and learning the true meaning of health and fitness, and pursued this throughout my college career. It’s important to establish what your goals are, and remember that just changing your body isn’t the gold ticket to happiness. Changing your mindset, having a positive outlook on health and fitness, and pushing to be the best version of “you” all work together to ensure your continued success on your journey. I specialize in motivation, weight training, effective cardio, and creating enjoyable, yet challenging workouts that will break barriers and show you exactly what you are capable of.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” This quote resonates in me, as I have shown time and time again that there is nothing to be afraid of when it comes to training. I’ve always advocated to lift weights and participate in productive forms of cardio, even if either or both seems daunting. I maintain a positive, healthy outlook on training for everyone. Regardless of your current fitness level, we can work together to accomplish your goals.
